I fell in love with yachts and catamarans, and I wanted to connect my life with sailing. Sailing became my passion back in 2019, when I first joined as a crew member in Tenerife. Since then, I’ve felt that this is really what I’m meant to do. I want it to be not only my hobby, but also something bigger.

We had a lot of theory and a lot of homework, which I really liked. It wasn’t only about listening, it was also about engaging in discussions. There were many discussions among the students. I really love the instructors, so I highly recommend Elmár Sailing School. They really know how to give you the important details, where to focus, and what is truly essential.

After the theory, we had a really good week of practice in Greece. We went through everything: night sailing, man overboard drills, lots of manoeuvring, docking and undocking, mooring—everything, really.
